Senior Manager

We're looking for a Senior Manager who:

• Has at least seven years experience in the insurance industry


• Has knowledge and experience on commercial insurance lines of business


• Has good knowledge of claims handling


• Is fluent in Maltese and English


• Has initiative and can thrive independently and as part of a team


• Has a CII qualification, or in the process of obtaining it

Principal accountabilities:

• Overall day-to-day management of the company’s business operations both local and international


• Dealing with commercial insurance business as well as the administration of claims


• Overseeing and improving business processes


• Liaising with the Executive team in order to assist with the implementation of business strategies and plans


• Preparing management reports for the Executive team


• Communicating business goals to the company’s employees and encouraging a positive culture


• Assisting the General Manager and HR with the recruitment process


• Overseeing training for employees


• Ensuring employees follow all company policies and procedures


• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
