Assistant Storekeeper

SV Beauty Limited is a subsidiary of V.J. Salomone Limited. The newly established joint venture company brings together the reputation and experience of the V.J. Salomone and Vivian Group of Companies, both leading importation and distribution companies within the beauty industry.  SV Beauty represents a number of international brands such as Hugo Boss, Gucci, Calvin Klein, Burberry, Chloe, Lancaster, Max Factor, Adidas, Rimmel, Thalgo and other well renowned brands.  We are currently seeking to recruit a full / part-time Assistant Storekeeper.

The ideal candidate will be reporting directly to the storekeeper.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with maintaining an organised and clean warehouse, shelving which is properly labelled, and ensures that product is protected and safeguarded.


• Assists in timely preparation of items to be delivered.


• Assists with receiving orders and stacking product accordingly.


• Advises storekeeper of any variances when receiving goods according to order/s.


• Assists during stock inventory checks.


• Assists the storekeeper in all necessary stock movement especially when required to make necessary space for arrival of goods.


• Performs other related duties as shall be assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.


• Be capable to perform basic mathematical calculations.


• Be capable to understand written procedures.


• Be literate in both Maltese and English.


• Possess basic computer skills


• Adherence to safety practices and procedures.


• Good communication skills.


• Clean driver’s licence.

Preference will be given to candidates in possession of certificate to operate a forklift truck.
