Senior Accountant

Quantum Group, incorporating Quantum Corporate Services Limited, Quantum Business Services Limited and Arx Trustees Limited, is a small organisation providing corporate and trust services, business advisory and corporate support and compliance services. Quantum Group is recruiting a Senior Accountant to join their Client Accounting department.

The main responsibilities and duties will include:

• Sales ledger, purchase ledger and nominal ledger data inputting;


• Maintaining accounting schedules;


• Perform monthly bank reconciliations;


• Debtors and creditors reconciliations;


• Issuing of invoices and credit control;


• Preparing VAT returns and other statutory returns as necessary;


• Monthly payroll;


• Assistance in the compilation of budgets and forecasts;


• Preparing of periodical management accounts and financial reporting;


• Liaising with external bodies and other regulatory authorities;


• Liaising with external auditors and other advisors;


• Other ad hoc tasks and reporting depending on the qualifications and experience.

Requirements:

• The right candidate should have completed a Degree in accounting or equivalent or be in his / her final stages of ACCA. Previous experience in a similar role would be considered as an asset;


• The role requires an individual who can work with minimum supervision and possesses a good working knowledge of MS applications.
