Pareto Consulting is a consultancy firm providing strategic organizational solutions and HR services to its clients in Europe. Currently, we are on assignment for our client - Malta located holding company for an international privately-owned group and one of its subsidiaries operating in the software development industry. The companies were founded over 20 years ago. The rest of the holding company’s wholly-owned subsidiaries operate in several locations worldwide.
We are currently recruiting for a permanent and part-time role of Accounting and Corporate Manager.
Purpose of the role
The role of the Accounting and Corporate Manager is to manage the holding company’s and one of its subsidiary’s administrative and accounting duties so that all operations in regards to company registers and books are compliant with local legislation and performed in a seamless and efficient manner.

We are currently recruiting for a permanent and part-time role of Accounting and Corporate Manager.
Purpose of the role
The role of the Accounting and Corporate Manager is to manage the holding company’s and one of its subsidiary’s administrative and accounting duties so that all operations in regards to company registers and books are compliant with local legislation and performed in a seamless and efficient manner.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing accounting and bookkeeping for both companies including but not limited to:
- Preparation and submission of VAT return
- Regular update of bank movement report
- Creating bank payments
- Assisting in the coordination of year-end audits
- Arranging settlement of suppliers and consultants’ balances
- Corporate and administrative tasks, and company document registers:
- Ensuring well-organized registers of company documentation
- Liaising with banks / Malta Business Registry / Malta Financial Services Authority and other authorities as may be required
- Coordinating document flow with customers and suppliers
- Reviewing agreements and invoices, arranging signatures, and uploading them in the ERP system
- Coordinate the organization of board meetings and shareholders’ meetings
Skills and Competencies Required:
- Degree or equivalent in accounting, finance or law
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position preferably in a corporate service-focused industry and / or financial services industry
- A good understanding of Maltese company law and the role of a company secretary
- General understanding of GDPR and AML related legislation will be seen as an advantage
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent written and oral proficiency in both English and Maltese
