Quality Control Analyst

Panaxia is part of a group of Israeli pharmaceutical companies specializing in the Medical Cannabis sector. We are seeking to recruit a Quality Control Analyst to join our QC department.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Testing raw materials and finished dosage forms, chemical testing, and microbial contamination.


• Sampling in accordance with standard test procedures.


• Performing final product stability analysis.


• Reporting any non-conformities.


• Carrying out complete documentation.


• Adhering to the appropriate GLP and GMP and local safety guidelines.


• Ensure that lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.


• Develop and qualify new testing methods.


• Train other analysts to perform laboratory procedures.


• Participate in internal assessments and audits as required.


• Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.


• Environmental monitoring.


• Lead and assist in any investigations that may arise as guided by the QC Manager.


• Writing up and updating laboratory-related procedures and guidelines, including associated training of personnel.


• Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.

Education and/or work experience required:

• Relevant education in the field of Science.


• Previous experience as a QC Analyst and QC Microbiologist is considered an asset.


• Good IT skills e.g., Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).


• Credible and confident communicator (written and verbal) at all levels.


• Ability to achieve and maintain high standards with meticulous attention to detail.


• First-class planning, organizational and time management skills.


• Ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment, adhering to strict deadlines / timescales.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.


• Team player with a totally flexible approach.


• Self-motivated with the ability to work proactively using own initiative.


• Any additional tasks as required and instructed by the QC Manager.
