Junior Compliance Analyst

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Compliance Analyst to join our compliance team. The Junior Compliance Analyst will assist in ensuring that our organization adheres to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. This is an entry-level position, perfect for a candidate looking to start their career in compliance within the financial services or corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular compliance checks to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.


• Assist in the review, development, and maintenance of compliance documentation, including policies and procedures.


• Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) checks, ensuring that client records are complete and accurate.


• Support the compliance team in the preparation of regulatory reports and filings.


• Conduct risk assessments to identify compliance issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.


• Assist in the coordination and implementation of compliance training for employees.


• Stay updated on relevant regulations, including AML / CFT laws, GDPR, and any industry-specific requirements.


• Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of compliance across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Any compliance-related qualifications will be considered as an asset.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
