Senior Electrical Technician

Motherwell Bridge Industries Ltd. is seeking to recruit Senior Electrical Technicians to carry out electrical, electronic and instrumentation maintenance and fault finding on heavy industrial and plant equipment, port handling equipment in the oil and gas and marine sectors.

Based in Malta and reporting to the Marine Division Foreman, the selected candidates will be leading a team of Electrical Technicians / Fitters required to work on projects both locally and abroad related to the oil and gas and marine industry. Duties include fault-finding and repair of electrical, electronic and instrumentation systems and equipment, routine maintenance and testing activities and modifications when required.

The Requirements
The ideal candidates must be in possession of an EQF Level 5 Diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar qualification and License A and B together with at least 5 years experience in similar role preferably within the oil and gas industry.

Interested applicants must have good communication skills in English, ability to read and interpret drawings / manuals and team leadership skills.
