Finance Executive

An opportunity has arisen for interested candidates to join Motherwell Bridge Industries as a Finance Executive on full-time basis.

Based in Malta and reporting to the Finance Manager, the selected candidate shall be responsible, amongst other duties, for:

• Assisting in the preparation of management accounts and forecasts;


• Timely execution of month-end procedures and reconciliations including prepayments and depreciation;


• Issuing of intercompany recharges and maintaining intercompany balances;


• Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns;


• Managing the Company’s cashflow;


• Assisting and liaising with our auditors during the annual statutory audit;


• Respond promptly to queries from business representatives, management and third parties;


• Ensure compliance with Company accounting policies and procedures;


• Liaising with relevant bank and financial institutions.


• The position calls for an energetic and flexible individual, representative of a forward-looking Company who can interact well with all stakeholders and work under pressure.

The Requirements
The ideal candidate must be a semi-qualified accountant in an advanced stage of obtaining ACCA or similar qualification with a minimum of two years experience in a finance-related role, have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and able to work on own initiative and prioritize workload. Fluency in English is a must.
