Materials Controller

We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Materials Controller at our logistical base in Birzebbuga, Malta.

Your challenge

• To inspect and verify newly received materials are according to documentation provided and report if any discrepancy or damage found.


• To carry out material transfers, data entry, maintenance, and material transactions in inventory and ensure traceability.


• To conduct a physical routine or conformity stock takes and investigate any discrepancies found.


• To ensure that policies and procedures pertaining to non-departmental personnel are followed during their presence in warehousing areas.


• To confirm availability, consolidate and prepare material for vessel loadings as per client request and issue relevant shipping documentation as per company procedure.


• To create and issue reports for clients or supervisors based on material type, status, condition, or location.


• To ensure accurate communication is established and strict follow-up is maintained with stakeholders upon receiving a client request.


• To prepare and execute contractually binding documents such as, movement receipts, pick lists and cargo manifests.


• To ensure that warehouse areas are always orderly.


• To support and assist clients, auditors or other company personnel in physical checks required within the warehouse facility.

Who are you

• Hold an MQF level 2 of education in Business Administration.


• Holds one (1) year experience in an office environment or in similar position.


• In possession of an ECDL licence.


• Intermediate skills in use of MS Office applications.


• Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices of a warehouse environment.


• In possession of a Clean Driving license (Category B), due to work location accessibility.


• Holder of a valid work permit issued by respective Maltese authorities.


• Knowledge of written and spoken English.


• Able and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays on a rotation basis.


• Be an excellent team player.


• Must be accurate, precise, thorough and give attention to detail.


• Maintain a good, cooperative and respectful attitude.
