Machine Setter

MCL designs and manufactures innovative and sustainable plastic products, ranging from packaging to toys and to products used in agriculture, construction, and health and fitness. We provide an end-to-end solution from concept creation through to the finished product.

We are seeking to recruit a Machine Setter within our Injection Moulding department. This role requires a person who enjoys working with state-of-the-art machinery and automation. Above all, it requires a person who can think logically to troubleshoot technical challenges and act proactively to anticipate potential issues and identify improvement possibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and start-up of injection moulds and related equipment (including robots).


• Ensure smooth running of the production environment.


• Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and electronics issues.


• Identify opportunities for improvement.


• Coordinate tasks with and support other team members.


• Take the initiative to anticipate, lead and resolve issues autonomously.


• Coordinate the achievement of production targets.


• Optimise production processes.
