Position Overview
As Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will be responsible for the management of the operations of MVC as well as setting the overall vision for it. The role involves a high level of responsibility, with pivotal decision-making affecting the future of the MVC and its employees.
The CEO is the main driver of the organisation and is ultimately accountable to the shareholder of MVC.
Within this role, the CEO will be expected to oversee all operations. The CEO will also be expected to develop strategies for MVC as well as communicating these strategies to an internal and external audience.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading the development of MVC’S short and long-term strategy, ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives;
- Making major corporate decisions, managing the overall operations and resources of MVC;
- Communicating, on behalf of MVC, with the shareholder, other government entities and ministries, and the public;
- Maintaining awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, industry developments, etc;
- Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements;
- Evaluating the work of other team leaders within the MVC, including Senior Managers and Managers;
- Developing fresh ideas for the running of MVC;
- Monitoring how various departments of MVC operate and how they work together to achieve overall goals;
- Creating and implementing strategies, together with the senior management team, to determine the direction MVC will take;
- Enforcing adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the MVC’S legality and business ethics;
- Creating a positive culture at MVC. This is done by taking actions such as listening to employees and paying attention to diversity and inclusion;
- Communicating a uniform vision for MVC and making sure that it's understood and acted upon;
- Consulting with shareholder to determine the future path of MVC;
- Coordinating the development of scheme rules under guidance of the Board of MVC, and chairing the technical committees contemplated by the board approved assessment methodology;
- Analysing problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure MVC’s survival and growth;
- Keeping up with industry news and trends by reading relevant publications and meeting with other professionals;
- Taking any decisions and actions required to help MVC cut expenses and increase revenue.
Experience and Qualifications
- A master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (MQF Level 7). In case of foreign qualifications, a recognition certificate from MFHEA is to be submitted for the application to be taken into consideration;
- Minimum of seven (7) years post-graduate experience in a senior management role;
- Experience in a C-suite executive position;
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills;
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills;
- Deep knowledge of corporate governance, finance, and performance management;
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
