Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the post of Duty Manager. This position is a management grade within Malta Freeport Terminals’ Operations department. The selected candidate shall be responsible for the efficient management of the Terminals during his/her shift.
The selected person must have the ability to motivate and organise a large, multi-skilled workforce in order to achieve the efficient handling of our clients’ vessels and achieve the targets set by the Company.
Candidates should be able to meet deadlines and handle stressful situations, should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, have an outgoing personality, personal drive and the ability to work under pressure and on a shift basis.
The ideal candidates would be in possession of at least post-secondary diplomas or certificates, preferably with a logistics and/or a maritime background and must have at least five years line management experience.
