General Manager

The newly built Lure Hotel & Spa will be opening in April 2021, an outstanding property located in Mellieha’s village core, consisting of 12 exclusively designed rooms, restaurant and spa.

Responsibilities include:

• A minimum of 5 years experience in hospitality management with experience in rooms and food and beverage.


• Have strong leadership and team-building skills.


• Ongoing monitoring of expenditure, sales and profit levels compared to budgets and recommending methods for effective
  savings.


• Collaborate with third parties such as suppliers and tour operators.


• Creating hotel policies together with the Directors.


• Manage all the operations of the hotel.


• Knowledge of IT systems used in payroll and reservations is a plus.


• Is willing to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays and when the need arises.


• Ability to work well under pressure.


• Have a hands-on approach.


• Good communication, decision making and problem-solving skills.


• Possess a good understanding of all hotel management best practices and current laws and guidelines.


• Conversant in English and Maltese, and any other language is an asset.


• Ensure consistency and good customer care.


• Maintain the highest level of luxury and standard.
