Warehouse Operative

Job objectives
The position is accountable to the Materials and Logistics Manager and is responsible for cargo collection / processing, binning and order picking of parts / materials from stores and delivery of aircraft-related material to hangars and other deliveries / collections to support the daily operation. The incumbent responsibilities also include intrastat declarations. The incumbent is also responsible for performing receipt and inspection of material together with the shipping of customer material.

Responsibilities

• Incoming quality check of material, tools and related documents.


• Handling, stock taking, kitting, packing and preparation for delivery of materials and tools.


• Delivery of aircraft-related material from the warehouse to Hangars.


• Collection and processing of serviceable returns.


• Perform intrastat incoming / outgoing declarations.


• Cargo collection from local cargo depots.


• Cargo documentation processing.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and ability to work in a fully computerised environment.


• Valid driving license, preferably including C / C1.


• A good command of English and Maltese both spoken and written.


• MQF level 3 certification.
