Learnkey Institute is a leading training institute in Malta, which has been operating since early 1995. We are an ACCA Gold Centre and accredited by City & Guilds, OTHM, ILM, and MFHEA and deliver various diploma courses in Secretarial, Finance and Accountancy and Business.

The ideal candidate has to be a passionate language educator focused on student success, an innovative problem-solver with cultural awareness, and possess strong interpersonal skills, motivating and inspiring staff and students alike. Detail-oriented with excellent time management.

Academic Leadership

• Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation.


• Ensure high teaching and learning standards.


• Update curriculum for diverse student needs.


• Implement assessment and feedback for student progress.

Staff Management

• Recruit, train, and manage qualified teachers.


• Conduct observations and appraisals.


• Organize professional development workshops. - Foster a collaborative work environment.

Student Support

• Provide academic guidance and address individual needs. Oversee placement testing for appropriate levels. Handle academic complaints and issues.

Operational Management

• Manage accreditation compliance.


• Maintain accurate records and reports.


• Collaborate with Administration on marketing and recruitment.

Quality Assurance

• Monitor academic program effectiveness.


• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.


• Implement innovative teaching practices.

Requirements

• Preferably a valid ELT Permit or if not in possession candidate will need to validate the qualification with the ELT council which may take up to 1 month from application.


• A police certificate of good conduct issued within the last month before application and one of the following:
  
  
  
  • Master’s in TESOL and / or Education.
  
  
  • A DELTA / DipTESOL plus a minimum of 1,500 contact ELT hours spread over no less than twelve cumulative months.
  
  
  
  

Experience Required

• 3 years experience teaching EFL to adults and young learners.

Company will pay the national insurance and annual leave days as per the Maltese law requirement for employees.

Salary
Between €30,000 - €40,000 gross annual income depending on experience.
