John Zammit & Associates is a small, forward-looking organisation that offers a 'one-stop shop' for all corporate requirements, ranging from incorporating new companies to providing accounting and auditing services, tax advice and administrative and general consultancy.
The Firm is currently looking to engage new talent to join its growing team.
As a Senior Auditor within the Firm’s Audit team, you will be assigned a number of clients for which you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the audit process, to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and with internal policies.

As a Senior Auditor within the Firm’s Audit team, you will be assigned a number of clients for which you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the audit process, to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and with internal policies.
You will address the following roles and responsibilities, namely:
- Leading and executing financial, operational and compliance audits, from planning to reporting
- Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and identifying areas for improvement
- Providing strategic recommendations to mitigate risks and to enhance operational efficiency
- Communicating audit findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
- Performing other relevant duties, as and when required
The job requirements include the following:
- Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Accounting and a CPA certification would be preferred
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in auditing, with a focus on financial controls and risk management
- A strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, lead audit engagements and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Be self-motivated and proactive, with a positive 'can do' attitude
