The role
As a forward-thinking institution, Izola Bank is dedicated to crafting and delivering customer-centric financial solutions. We are currently in search of a Marketing Officer to join our marketing department. This role offers a unique opportunity to nurture and grow the bank’s image, brand, products, and standing within the markets within which it operates. In addition, this role will involve supporting the Bank’s Marketing Manager in executing and reporting on all local and international marketing campaigns, managing multiple digital channels, and constantly finding ways to think outside the box with creative solutions to often complex products and challenges.

Key responsibilities
As a Marketing Officer, your daily activities will include:
- Manage the bank’s website to ensure it provides a solid platform in which to source leads, provide relevant information, is easy to navigate, and portrays the bank in a manner that is always fresh and engaging.
- Work with partners on maintaining a strong SEO strategy to ensure optimal positioning in relevant search engines.
- Manage and deliver website analytics reports and dashboards (weekly / monthly / quarterly / annually) with key insights.
- Manage and grow the bank’s social media presence, across all existing and new social channels.
- Create, launch, and manage engaging content for various marketing channels.
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement, retention, and conversions.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of digital marketing campaigns and use digital metrics to deliver data-driven insights to make improvements using available software.
- Ensure brand consistency in all marketing materials and initiatives.
- Assist internal teams with insight into UX and UI for digital customer touchpoints.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and digital marketing best practices.
- Day-to-day management of the Bank’s CRM and Marketing Automation system, along with other marketing-related software.
- Collaborate with cross-department teams to drive the achievement of overall business objectives.
- Support the Marketing Manager in delivering marketing presentations to the Board and Senior Management team.
- Assist the Marketing Manager in the administering and monitoring of the annual marketing budget.
- Liaise and negotiate with existing and new vendors and form strong relationships to ensure top quality at all times.
Skills and capabilities required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in handling content management systems such as WordPress.
- Solid experience working with marketing automation and CRM systems such as Hubspot.
- Excellent knowledge of digital marketing, including social media, email marketing, search engine advertising (PPC / Display), SEO, analytics, and content creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working on Google My Business, Google Analytics, Google Ad Words, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Builder.
- Knowledge of design software such as Adobe and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of Maltese, Dutch and / or French would be considered an asset.
