Accounts Assistant

ITP Aero - Aeromaritime is an established International Company, dedicated to the repair and overhaul of gas turbine engines. The Malta facility is an Authorised Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Center for Rolls-Royce Model M250 and RR300 helicopter engines.

We are currently seeking to recruit Accounts Assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting and updating sales / purchase / nominal ledgers.


• Monitoring and updating of bank accounts including bank reconciliations.


• Preparation of VAT returns.


• Assisting the accountant in the closing of monthly management accounts.


• Ad hoc duties as may be required.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

• A diploma or degree level of education preferably in Accounts.


• Working experience in a similar position.


• Fluent in English and able to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.


• Proficiency in computer applications.


• Ability, initiative and drive to work on own initiative and as part of the finance team.
