Senior Operations & Onboarding Officer

We are looking for a dedicated, well-spoken onboarding officer to join our Operations department. The responsibilities of the onboarding officer include helping company business development team abide with the company’s policies, showing colleagues throughout the company how new applications should be submitted, scheduling and processing new applications, and gathering the necessary documentation.

To be a successful Onboarding Officer, you should have a good working knowledge of AML / CFT and experience within the financial industry. Ultimately, a top-notch onboarding officer should be a great communicator with a flair for interacting with new people.

Responsibilities

• Process new applications in CRM


• Update client information and documents in CRM


• Liaise with sales, account managers and compliance


• Analyse third-party payments


• Request documentation for Introducer agreements


• Ensure that filings are completed accurately and that customer files are maintained up to date


• Creating relevant procedures regarding the onboarding of clients


• Liaise with the MLRO if any suspicious activity is detected during the onboarding process


• Ability to work effectively on a team and with business partners and colleagues throughout the Company


• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Operations

Required knowledge, skills, and experience

• A minimum of two years working experience in the financial services, corporate services, legal trust, or relevant industry


• The ability to work under pressure


• Knowledge of money laundering regulations and / or experience in the field
