As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Database Administrator to join our team in Balzan, Malta!

This position is a part of a highly collaborative, driven team providing support to one of the largest sportswear manufacturers in Europe.
What does the ideal candidate look like?
- Have at least 4+ years of practical experience in MS SQL Server administration.
- Work experience with SQL Server database version 2014/2016/2019/2022 is required.
- SQL Server installation, upgrades, migrations and configuration.
- Experience in redundancy and failover (Always on cluster and Windows failover cluster).
- Complete understanding of backups, restores, recovery models, database maintenance operations.
- Should have experience and ability to work with various teams to resolve DB / infrastructure issues.
- Well acquainted with ITIL processes and very good communication skills.
- Contribution towards automation of recurrent tasks.
- Experience in AWS is a plus.
