Finance Executive

A vacancy has arisen for the post of Finance Executive, within our company. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Executive will mainly assist in the day to day update of accounting records and providing information for related reporting in an effective and efficient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Updating the food and beverage and accounting systems software with food and beverage data including posting of invoices on our accounting system


• Maintaining the stock system, including ordering and receipts of stocks


• Maintaining, updating records and preparing basic reports


• Carrying out physical stock taking of the food and beverage function


• Bank reconciliations


• Administrative duties and payroll workings


• Assisting in general office duties


• Participating in ad-hoc projects as required

The ideal candidate should have:

• A minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar position


• Post-secondary education in accounting / business / finance


• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications


• Knowledge of accounting systems


• Strong analytical and numerical skills and ability to work on own initiative


• Good understanding of accounting and financial principles


• Willingness to learn


• Ethical behaviour and high level of accuracy and efficiency
