Team Leader (Laundry Department)

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Laundry department Team Leader to manage and oversee the daily operations of our laundry department. The selected candidate will lead a small team of employees, ensuring that all laundry processes are carried out efficiently.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, energetic, and proactive, capable of working alongside the team while maintaining oversight of the department’s workflow and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily laundry operations and staff schedules.

• Take a hands-on role in the preparation of all laundry items, working directly with the team.

• Knowledgeable about different types of stains and appropriate removal methods.

• Ensure the timely completion of all laundry tasks.

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, organisation, and safety within the department.

• Delegate tasks effectively while fostering teamwork and accountability.

• Liaise with management to report on operations and address any issues or requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a laundry operational environment.

• Leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

• Must be currently residing in Malta.

• Demonstrated ability to manage small teams and work efficiently under pressure.

• Professional, reliable, and able to lead by example.
