Junior Accountant

We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Data entry (bookkeeping, cashflow, payroll, etc.);


• Updating internal systems with financial data;


• Preparing basic financial statements, reports and documents for management review;


• Performing reconciliation of clients and suppliers records;


• Processing supplier invoices;


• Controlling expenditure;


• Acting as the point of contact with other departments on accounting matters;


• Ensuring that accurate records are kept by standard practices;


• Perform ad hoc duties as required.

Candidate's Profile

• Fluency in English (essential);


• Very good knowledge of Excel (essential);


• Advanced numerical and quantitative skills (essential);


• Prior experience in a similar role, using Sage accounting software (desirable);


• Detail-oriented;


• Proven organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills;


• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats;


• Strong sense of commitment and willing to take on more responsibilities;


• You are proactive, motivated and adaptable.

Contract Conditions

• A full-time one-year contract based in Malta. Renewal upon performance;


• Annual gross salary: €16,000 - €26,000 + benefits (TBD);


• A round-trip flight ticket to Malta for the assignment period (if applicable).
