The Role
We are looking to recruit a Customer Support Executive to join our young and dynamic team in the Health department.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience in working within a customer service environment and with a medical background.
Main duties will include but are not limited to
- Providing insurance quotations and underwriting new business.
- Handling enquiries from customers, branches and intermediaries.
- Seeing to walk-in customers, answering incoming calls and email enquiries.
- Issuing new policies and renewals.
- Developing and following up list of prospective clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
Education and Experience
- Advanced level of education.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
- Attention to detail and communication skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written English. Knowledge of the Maltese language would be an asset.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have a qualification in Insurance or are in the final stages of obtaining one. A medical background will be considered an asset.
