Franchise Manager

A vacancy has arisen within Foodchain Limited for a Franchise Manager reporting to the Business Manager of the company. This position requires a person who is efficient and effective in the operations of our stores within the set policy framework and in accordance with established procedures.

Food Chain Ltd operates 17 stores in total across Malta for Burger King, Pizza Hut, KFC and BOOST.

Reporting to the Business Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for

• Ensuring that all restaurant operations are running smoothly, carrying out structured visits in all our restaurants and following up on any issues with the respective Restaurant Manager.


• Ensuring customer satisfaction by making sure that franchise standards of operations are met at all times.


• Liaising with the Human Resources Manager to make sure that restaurants are well-staffed, and all employees are trained, developed and coached accordingly.


• Liaising with the Finance Manager and making sure that all financial costs are in control and preparing the annual budget reports.


• Liaising with the Marketing department to support promotional activities and ensure that campaigns are communicated efficiently.


• Liaising with the Maintenance and Project Manager to ensure efficiency at the stores.


• Be proficient on all technical and operational aspects.


• Ensure that all stores are sales-focused and ensure maximum sales are achieved.


• Liaise with the Franchise to make sure all standards are in place and audits passed.

Educational and skill requirements

• Masters / degree in Management or 3 years experience in customer-oriented in a managerial position.


• Fluent in spoken and written English.


• IT literate.


• Excellent communication and organizational skills.


• Budgeting and management skills.


• Skilled multi-tasker with the ability to work to tight deadlines.


• Numeracy skills.


• Possess a driving license and a car.
