Accounts Clerk

Food Chain Ltd operates 20 stores in total across Malta for Burger King, Pizza Hut, KFC and Boost. A vacancy has arisen within our Finance department for an Accounts Clerk.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Posting of purchase invoices.


• Reconciling supplier statements and preparing bank payments.


• Sales reconciliation and inputting.


• Preparation of bank reconciliation statements.


• General ledger postings.


• Filing of documents.


• Generation of reports that may be required for management.


• General administrative and accounting duties.

Educational and skill requirements

• Have an O' level standard of education in Accountancy.


• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.


• Strong communication skills.


• Good eye for detail and organised.


• Able to work alone and on own initiative as well as in a team.


• Be flexible and have a practical approach.


• Experience in a similar position will be considered an asset however training will be provided.
