Head of Home

Fondazzjoni Dar il-Hena invites applications from interested individuals for the role of Head of Home to work in one of the residences of the Foundation on a full-time basis.

The role
The position of Head of Home requires the selected person to assume full responsibility for the operational and administrative aspects of the residence. This involves overseeing the services offered by the unit to the service users to the finest detail, ensuring that these are of the highest standard and that any arising challenges are dealt with professionally and in a timely manner.

Moreover, the Head of Home has to manage and supervise the staff working in the same unit, ensuring that the service given is driven by the ethos of care and compassion.

The Head of Home is directly accountable to the Manager of Fondazzjoni Dar il-Hena.

This role necessitates a charismatic and energetic person with effective leadership qualities and managerial skills.

Individuals interested to apply shall also meet the following criteria

• Possess a degree in a social well-being subject;


• Be highly organized, reliable, and have a strong aptitude for teamwork;


• Be mature with sound moral values;


• Possess excellent verbal and written communication in both Maltese and English;


• Be highly proficient in IT and in the use of Microsoft applications;


• Possess a clean driving licence;


• Previous experience in leadership in a similar position would be considered an asset.
