Senior Accountant

We are part of a reputable international professional services group, providing our services exclusively to an international clientele. We provide international company formations, trustee, management and administration services, advice on company law matters as well as accounting, tax compliance and arranging for audits by independent auditors. Our organisation has fully-fledged offices in UAE, Malta and Cyprus and associated offices worldwide.

We would like to recruit a Senior Accountant who will join our accounting team and be based at our Malta office. The successful candidate will join a loyal and energetic group of people and must be ambitious, deadline-oriented and willing to grow with us.

Duties include:

• Preparation of management accounts;


• Preparation of tax returns and tax refund claim forms;


• Preparation and submission of VAT returns;


• Liaising with external auditors when required and assisting in statutory audits;


• Bank accounting and bank reconciliations;


• Maintaining accounting records;


• Preparation of financial statements;


• Audit of financial information.

Requirements for the position:

• At least 3 years of solid and hands-on experience in a similar environment;


• CPA warrant holder and ACCA qualified (or equivalent);


• Excellent oral and written communication skills;


• Strong IT skills;


• Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines;


• Highly motivated and with an eye for detail.
