We are seeking an experienced, outgoing and dynamic individual to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Opening and closing the restaurant.

  • Mentoring and training new staff members.

  • Scheduling shifts and assigning wait staff their sections whilst also holding briefings with the kitchen staff.

  • Run efficient and seamless service between FOH and BOH.

  • Resolving customers' questions and complaints in a professional manner.

  • Implement measures to minimize costs and improve profitability through upselling, daily specials, and recommendations.

  • Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.

  • Making requests for purchases of equipment as stock is damaged or depleted.

  • Monitor stock levels, send requests for orders, managing staff to perform monthly stock takes.

  • Recording all income and expenses and ensuring that cash registers are balanced.

  • Maximize on upselling and increase revenue to reach given targets as set by Management.

  • Ensure that superior food and beverage service is provided to customers.

  • Organize monthly staff meetings to review and assess operation.

  • Manage staff where required and necessary according to busy shifts and events.

  • Dealing with restaurant reservations and event request emails by attending them accordingly.

  • Work and assist in all areas and sections of the restaurant according to work exigencies, to help other staff members where necessary, in order to sustain efficiency during shifts, give the optimum customer service, and ensure smooth operation.

  • Carrying out any other duties as required by Management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred. Additional qualifications in hospitality management are a plus.

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.

  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations (training in wines and spirits).

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to work within a multicultural team.

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

  • Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems (Micros experience preferred), MS Office and Windows.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • International experience is a plus.
