Delicata needs your sales expertise to fill the vacant position of Winery Area Sales Manager.
As Malta’s foremost winemaker, whose award-winning wines are sold extensively throughout the hotel, restaurant and wine bar sector, we are looking for mature personnel to maintain and develop business ideas and promotions with our numerous domestic clients.
The chosen applicant shall be a solid business negotiator and be able to show a fine track record of at least 3 years in sales and in-field marketing.
He or she must be a team player, smart, energetic and demonstrate drive and self-motivation to meet the customers’ needs and targets of the sales team.
Whilst responsibilities include making regular service visits and underwrite new business, the selected candidate will also be involved in promotional activities that may occur outside normal working hours.
The ideal candidate for this full-time position must possess at least an O’ level standard of education, be fluent in Maltese and English and hold a clean driving licence.
Previous hands-on sales and marketing experience is essential and knowledge of the hospitality sector and the wine trade is an asset.
The above-average remuneration package will be partly based on the experience of the individual applicant. It will include a fixed salary complemented by performance-related bonuses and the use of a company car with fuel allowance and a mobile phone.
