Digital Print Operator

Deco Manufacturing Ltd. is looking for an experienced Digital (large format) Print Operator to join our Digital Printing department. The ideal candidate is to possess a solid background in digital printing production and signage along with a positive attitude, great organizational skills, and strong hands-on skill set.

We are a busy, growing based digital wide format sign company with over 35 years of experience. We specialise in digital print graphics and signage. We design, manufacture, and install a wide assortment of wide-format signs and graphics using state-of-the-art digital print technology. Our products include direct print signage, banners, signs, wall murals, window graphics, and more.

Qualifications and Duties

• Extensive knowledge of RIPP Software, large format printers, laminating, mounting, plot cutters, finishing, trimming, Illustrator and Photoshop workflow software.


• The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of digital print production, coordination of labour and materials, and hands-on print production.
  Proven ability using some or all of the following- large format digital printers and equipment including UV flatbed printer, roll-to-roll printer, vinyl plotter, laminator and laser printer, and CNC Cutter.


• Responsible for all aspects of production for Large Format orders.


• Ensures day-to-day production demands are met. Review work orders for accuracy and verify materials required for set up of appropriate machines.


• Able to follow and perform all job duties thoroughly as instructed.


• Simultaneously set up and operate multiple large format roll-to-roll and flatbed printers.


• Maintain a neat, organised workstation and have high safety work environment.


• Perform daily preventative maintenance on all machines.


• Attention to detail is a must.
