Accountant

Corrieri Cilia is a fast-growing tax and legal practice active in the financial services and international business sectors, and we are seeking to add a motivated, diligent Accountant to our team.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Providing client book-keeping and accounting services to a portfolio of fiduciary and corporate clients;


• Liaising with clients and handling various requests in a timely manner;


• Liaising with the client's auditors;


• Preparation and filing of client entity financial statements, VAT returns and company income tax returns, as applicable;


• Reconciling general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information;


• Providing financial status information by providing reports.

Experience and qualifications:

• ACCA qualified Accountant or possessing a University degree in Accounting;


• At least two years’ relevant work experience in Corporate or Financial Services.

Skills:

• Strong communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English;


• Proven ability to meet deadlines;


• The ability to work autonomously and on your own initiative;


• Excellent organisational skills;


• An eye for detail and accuracy.
