Housekeeping Manager

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for excellence, attention to detail, and leadership qualities to manage the housekeeping department efficiently and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and service.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Lead and manage the Housekeeping department, including hiring, training, and supervising staff.


• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene in all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.


• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control checks to maintain the five-star standard.


• Manage inventory and procurement of housekeeping supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.


• Collaborate with the Maintenance and Front Office departments to ensure smooth communication and problem-solving regarding guest room status and other related issues.


• Monitor and uphold compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.


• Handle guest requests, complaints, and inquiries regarding housekeeping services, ensuring timely and professional responses.


• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, tracking expenses and optimizing operations for cost efficiency.


• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas, providing constructive feedback and coaching to the Housekeeping team.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have ideally a minimum of 2 years in a similar role with responsibility for managing staff.


• Hold an ITS qualification or equivalent.


• Good understanding of housekeeping management systems, products, and processes.


• Be self-motivated, able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.


• Possess good verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.


• Portray a professional image in line with the Company values.
