An opportunity has arisen for interested candidates to join CMA CGM Malta Agency as an agency representative for its Husbandry Division.
Role Summary
The Water Clerk will provide general husbandry of the vessel and the crew members whilst keeping the Owner / Charterer informed of the vessel’s occurrence and performance. Reporting to the Agency Operations Manager and working on specific shifts including nights / weekends, the chosen candidate will be responsible for the supervision of the vessel’s call. This role is the link between the vessel and her charterers, owners, suppliers, and all authorities for the smooth organization of the vessel’s requirements throughout her call.
Requirements
The preferred candidate will be an experienced maritime professional, a representative of a forward-looking Company who can interact well with all stakeholders and is ready to work night shifts. The successful candidate will be a team player who is able to work on their own initiative and multitask. Although, previous shipping experience would be considered an asset all applicants would be considered.
A valid driving licence and fluency in English is essential.
