Stores Assistant

We are currently seeking a Stores Assistant – FMCG to join our team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and timely packaging of FMCG products for distribution. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products based on order requirements and ensure that all items are correctly identified.


• Packing orders for delivery, following established packaging guidelines to ensure product integrity during transportation.


• Conduct visual inspections of products to verify their condition, expiry dates, and packaging accuracy.


• Maintain detailed and accurate records of picked and packed orders. Ensure proper documentation of any discrepancies or issues.


• Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless order processing.


• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.


• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of more efficient and effective picking and packing procedures.

Qualifications:

• Ability to accurately pick and pack products with a high level of precision.


• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders and prioritise tasks effectively.


• Capable of working collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals.


• Clear and effective communication skills to relay information about orders and report any issues.


• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment.


• Comfortable using basic computer systems for order tracking and documentation.


• Prior experience in a similar role is an asset.
