Bonded Warehouse Operator

As part of its growth plan, new talent is required for immediate full-time employment in our customs clearance department as a Bonded Warehouse Operator. The selected candidate will work within a secured custom-controlled bonded warehouse reporting to the Customs Import Team Leader. We are looking for a person who is organised, computer literate and with an eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• To tally all incoming shipments with the manifest


• Transfer of material from the cargo terminal to our warehouse


• Scan all shipments before being sorted in respective racks


• Check for any damages


• Release of shipments


• Daily end of day stock take with respective scan


• Comply with aviation, security, customs policies and procedures.

Preferred but not essential:

• Experience in warehousing, warehouse management and customs clearance.


• Candidates with a C1 driving license.


• Fork lift licence.

Due to the nature of this role all applicants must be in possession of a clean police conduct and will need to undergo aviation security training.
