The Role
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Accounts Executive to join our Finance team at CareMalta Limited. In this role, you will be an integral part of our financial department, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of accounting tasks, from managing daily transactions and reconciliations to assisting with audits and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial transactions and reconciliation:
  
  
  
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
  
  
  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations to maintain up-to-date financial records.
  
  
  • Oversee the accounts receivable processes, including payments, invoicing, debtor control, and follow-up on overdue receivables.
  
  
  
  


• Reporting and auditing:
  
  
  
  • Review expenses, payroll records, and other documents. Prepare and submit weekly / monthly financial reports.
  
  
  • Support the finance team in the preparation of monthly and yearly closings.
  
  
  • Organize and facilitate internal payroll audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  
  
  • Assist with external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
  
  
  
  


• Cashflow and banking:
  
  
  
  • Assist in managing the overall cashflow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
  
  
  • Liaise with local banks for financial transactions and queries.
  
  
  
  

Skills and Requirements:

• An A' level qualification in Accounts, an AAT qualification, or related.


• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.


• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.


• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
