A vacancy has arisen in our Front Office department for the post of Front Desk Agent on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate would need to have effective communication skills and be familiar with front office and office duties.

The role
A vacancy has arisen in our Front Office department for the post of Front Desk Agent on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate would need to have effective communication skills and be familiar with front office and office duties.
Main responsibilities include:
- Welcoming and checking-in and checking-out guests.
- Preparing documents prior to Check-in; including key preparation, booklet with T&Cs and Inventory list.
- Handing out documents to new arrivals and giving a welcome talk (Check-in paperwork and follow-up).
- Collect any pending balance, deposits, and Eco Tax.
- Following up on missed deposits / payments / eco tax – issuing reminders when necessary.
- Logging and following up on maintenance and housekeeping issues.
- Monitoring email inbox and hello inbox and actioning emails as needed.
- Refunding damage deposits including collection of bank details.
- Daily reporting of day-to-day maintenance in student accommodation and car park.
- Following all health and safety regulations.
- Adhering to company policies and legal regulations.
- Other ad-hoc reporting as may be required.
Skills and requirements:
- Have one (1) year experience in a Hotel environment would be considered an asset.
- Organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, particularly in English.
- Able to build customer relationships and ensure good communication.
