Packaging & Business Development Manager

Aurobindo Pharma (Malta) Limited is the gateway for Aurobindo’s pharmaceutical products in Europe. The Malta operations commenced in 2008 offering analytical services, batch release, warehousing including logistics at a pan-European level.

We are currently seeking a Packaging and Business Development Manager to join our team.

Objectives

• Coordination of re-packaging operations.


• Business development.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• The Packaging and Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring that products are re-packaged and stored according to the appropriate documentation to comply with EUGMP.


• To review and approve the instructions relating to packaging operations and to ensure their strict implementation.


• To ensure that production records are reviewed before they are sent to the Quality department.


• To check the maintenance of the Production department, premises, and equipment.


• To ensure that the appropriate validations are performed.


• To ensure that the required initial and continuing training of his department personnel is carried out and adapted according to need.


• Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing and packaging operations.


• Responsible for ensuring training and adherence by all packaging personnel for all GMP and SOP guidelines.


• Responsible for adherence to health and safety policies and procedures.


• Analyses and monitors production to detect safety, quality, and productivity problems and trends. Creates effective actions to resolve them, with an appropriate sense of urgency.


• Determines and manages the labour and resources to meet production targets with consideration of client timelines, cost-effectiveness, and workforce scheduling.


• Analyses the local tender business in relation to Aurobindo MAH licenses.


• Monitor the tender publication to submit our offer on time.


• Obtain COGS and production availability in line with the tender requirements.


• To ensure placing orders with the manufacturer to meet the tender demands.


• To review the tender supplies and deliver products on time.

Experience is required in Packaging Development, Business Development, or a related field.
