ARMS LTD is looking to engage individuals in the role of Customer Service Agents.
Applicants must, by the closing date of submission of the application, be in possession of the following;
- A minimum of any three (3) o’ level subjects (sec or equivalent) or three (3) years’ experience in sales, customer care, clerical or secretarial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Clean police conduct
Responsibilities:
- Respond and assist customers face-to-face
- Respond and assist customers through telephone, e-mail and letter
- Provides customers with products and/or service information
- Promote new products/ schemes
- Provides advice on energy and water consumption behaviour
- Creates and maintains credit payment installation plans with delegated parameters
- Identifies and escalates priority issues
- Carries out amendments to client records
- Inputting of customer readings
- Electronically issues updates of bills or copies of bills
- Changes in information relating to the customer's place of abode
- Sets up direct debit mandates
- Electronically issues account statements
- Processes credit or debit/ cash/ cheque payments
- Accepts payments and issues payment receipts
- Logs all types of customer contacts
- Gives feedback to customers on any query related to billing
- Schedules appointments
- Handles contestation of meter readings and faulty devices through investigative and revision of bills
- Handles applications regarding alteration of service
- Handles applications regarding the removal of meters
- Handles applications regarding changes of electricity tariffs
- Handles applications regarding the connection of PV unit
- Handles applications regarding temporary supply
- Handles applications regarding kiosks, stands and tower cranes
- Handles account corrections in the forms of amalgamations or interchanges
- Calculates, processes and/or validates credit adjustments
- Manages ARMS master data
- Stimulates individual billing and electronic forwarding
- Ensures follow-up of customer calls when necessary
- Meets with customers to handle complex cases, multiple cases and applications or contestation of bills
- Performs any other job-related duties as necessary or as assigned.
