Store Assistant

ARD is seeking an enthusiastic Store Assistant to work in our retail store located in Mellieha. Duties include helping our customers identify and purchase items, restocking the retail space, and creating appealing merchandise displays. The ideal candidate will have a desire to provide excellent customer service and increase sales.

Duties

• Welcome and greet customers


• Manage point-of-sale processes


• Maintain stock levels in-store


• Create merchandising displays


• Handle payments and cash registers


• Receive and unpack stock


• Keep up to date with product information


• Accurately describe product features and benefits to deliver an exceptional service


• Follow all companies’ policies, regulations and Health and Safety procedures

Requirements

• Basic administration skills


• Friendly and helpful attitude


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• A passion for customer service


• Experience in retail

• Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills


• Energetic and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment


• Basic math, computer, and literacy skills


• Ability to work well in a team environment
