Vehicles Maintenance Officer

AMSM is looking for a Vehicles Maintenance Officer to join our Vehicles Maintenance division on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all the maintenance on company vehicles is scheduled and carried out accordingly.


• Keeping all necessary written records regarding any work carried out on company vehicles.


• Dispensing of diesel.


• Ensuring that spare parts are stocked in the store, and sourcing required parts in the shortest time possible.


• Identifying any truck faults that may arise, whether of an electrical or mechanical nature and pinpointing the best method for the resolution of such faults.


• Being the first point of assistance when a company vehicle breaks down or has a puncture.


• Carrying out light maintenance and upkeep as and when needed.


• Manning the truck wash.


• Any additional tasks, as may be required by the company from time to time.

Your Profile

• Secondary level of education.


• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Maltese (written and speaking).


• Basic knowledge of heavy vehicles (electrical and mechanical) will be considered an asset.


• Experience using hand-held tools and power tools.


• A' C' or C1 driving licence will be considered an asset.
