Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate shall be responsible, amongst other duties, for:

- The provision of first / second line support;
- The support for Microsoft Windows and business applications, anti-virus protection, e-mail, updates and authentication administration;
- Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading hardware / equipment;
- Troubleshooting systems and network problems;
- Monitoring and maintaining customers’ systems and networks;
- Be able to document new and existing setups and upgrades.
The ideal candidate must:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar technical, hands-on role;
- Be qualified in IT at certificate / diploma level;
- Ensure that requests for assistance are properly logged, assigned and responded to in a timely manner and according to agreed standards and procedures;
- Create reports showing help desk statistics aiming to improve the quality of the help desk support;
- Eager to learn, pick up new technologies easily;
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills and be a team player;
- Be fluent in English and Maltese;
- Possess a driving licence and use of own car.
