Operations & Logistics Administrator

VJ Salomone Pharma is a specialist in Logistics, Distribution, and Marketing of Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare-related products, representing some of the world’s leading companies. As part of our expansion and development programme, the company is seeking to recruit a full-time.

Responsibilities

The chosen applicant will be required to carry out general administrative and reception duties, coordinate shipments, purchases, inventory, and distribution of goods to clients, including but not limited to:

• Assisting with warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, and order processing.

• Coordinate the movement of goods, materials, and supplies within the company and across supply chains.

• Coordination of shipments.

• Handle administrative duties related to the supply chain, including managing documents for goods, preparing records, and processing orders.

• Liaising between the direct superior, other relevant internal departments, government bodies, and customers.

• Issuing of weekly and / or monthly reports, as required.

• Financial reporting.

Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills are required for this role and the position calls for an effective team player, with a flexible approach to the needs of the job and the organisation. Good command of written business English is a must, as is excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications in particular, advanced knowledge in the use of Excel. 

A qualification in Logistics or a part qualification in Accounts commensurate with experience in the pharmaceutical industry, although not necessary, will be considered an asset. Candidates having a minimum of two years working experience in a similar role will be given preference.  

In return the selected candidate will benefit from a starting gross salary of €20,000 to €24,000 per annum, depending on qualifications, experience and knowledge.
