We are currently looking for a Logistics and Procurement Coordinator who will be mainly responsible for processing purchase orders, coordinating shipping documentation, and managing import and export shipments.

The Position Requires:

  • Manage the procurement process for all necessary goods and services within the company, including planning and organizing deliveries according to the required schedules.

  • Coordinate and oversee shipments to third parties for analysis and processing, ensuring the preparation of all necessary shipping documents. ∙ Process international customer orders in the pharmaceutical sector and arrange shipments accordingly.

  • Handle inbound and outbound courier shipments, ensuring proper documentation.

  • Supervise import shipments, verifying compliance with required documentation.

  • Handle customs declarations for both import and export freight shipments. ∙ Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and forwarders to secure cost-effective agreements and maintain strong partnerships.

  • Maintain document control for accurate transmission and registration by the accounting department.

The Selected Person Will be:

  • Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft applications namely Word and Excel. ∙ Proficient in English and ideally also in Italian.

  • Extremely organised and precise in compiling necessary shipping documentation.

  • Able to efficiently solve problems, take responsibility, maintain deadlines and show initiative.

  • Able to handle pressure and shifting priorities and remain focused when problems arise.

  • Able to effectively communicate and collaborate with all cross-departmental team members.

  • Willing to attend training.

  • Ideally experienced working in a pharmaceutical and/or GMP set-up.
