Soreda Hotel is a 4-star property that prides itself on delivering exceptional guest experiences. We are looking for a dedicated and professional individual to join our front office team as a full-time Evening / Night Receptionist and a part-time flexible Receptionist.
Role Summary
As a Receptionist at Soreda Hotel, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. You will provide excellent customer service, manage reservations, and handle guest enquiries with a positive and professional attitude. The ideal candidate should be flexible and able to work multiple shifts, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
Answer phone calls, manage reservations, and respond to guest enquiries via email, in person or over the phone.
Provide accurate information about the hotel’s services, facilities, and local attractions.
Handle payments, issue receipts, and manage billing enquiries.
Ensure the front desk is always well-presented and organised.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including handling mail and scheduling.
Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Adhere to hotel policies and maintain the confidentiality of guest information.
Qualifications and Skills
Previous experience as a receptionist or in customer service is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using hotel software and basic computer skills.
Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately.
Professional appearance and a positive attitude, embracing the service with a smile policy.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Candidates speaking Maltese and other European languages will be given preference.
