Electrical Engineer

As part of our expansion plans, we are seeking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team on a full-time basis.

The role

The chosen candidate will report to the Head of Projects and Engineering and will be responsible to design, execute and implement building management systems based on client requirements.

Main requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

• Preferably with prior experience as an Engineer.

• Experience with AutoCAD and BMS software is considered an asset.

• Ability to understand technical schematics and drawings.

• Excellent analytical skills, perseverance, and attention to detail.

• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work autonomously.

• In possession of a valid driver's license and passport.  

The chosen candidate will be required to

• Design, execute and implement building management systems.

• Conduct on-site surveys, formulate proposals, and design solutions according to client requirements.

• Support system evaluators during the tendering stage and create proposals, documentation and BOQs as required

• Plan the work schedule, resources and inputs required for execution by the team.

• Provide technical support in the field during project execution.

• Provide post-implementation customer support and problem resolution.  

• Train technical staff and partners as required.

• Design rigorous quality tests of the systems.

• Certify and sign off on projects according to the contract of works.

• Establish an operation and maintenance manual (OMM).

• Maintain up-to-date documentation pertaining to systems.

• Occasional travel abroad on short work assignments.

• Any other task assigned by senior management and as required from time to time.
