Merchandiser

The selected candidate will ensure that our products are properly displayed and stocked in supermarkets. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that our brand and products are effectively represented in supermarkets. The job is on casual terms – with approx. 20-30 hours of work per week, depending on need.

Whilst previous experience in a similar position will be considered an asset, the ideal candidate should possess:

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• The ability to work under minimal supervision

• A clean and valid driving license, and in possession of a car (to be used on the job)

• Computer literate - to be able to handle orders received by email and input the same in a sales software on a tablet

• Good standard of education

• Fluency in both Maltese and English

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure company products are always visible and accessible at the point of sale

• Ensure that all of the company's products are stacked, checked for expiry dates, rotated accordingly and made continuously visible, whilst ensuring shelf space is optimised

• Maintain a timely and accurate store visiting schedule

Basic wage + commission and allowances will be offered to the right candidate.
