Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Person

RQT Executive Hospitality Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Person to join the team of a 90-room hotel in Malta.

We are looking for a practical, reliable and hands-on professional who can ensure the smooth day-to-day operation and maintenance of the hotel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for general maintenance across the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities and technical areas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out general maintenance and repairs

• Basic electrical and plumbing works

• Painting, tiling and general repairs

• Preventive maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment

• Responding to maintenance requests from guests and hotel departments

• Identifying and reporting technical issues

• Ensuring guest rooms and public areas are maintained to a high standard

• Supporting external contractors and specialised technicians when required

• Maintaining a safe and professional working environment

The ideal candidate:

• Previous hotel experience is highly desirable
