Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Controls all costs of sales, labour, and semi-variable costs on a daily, weekly and period basis.

  • Identifies deviations from desired results and takes immediate corrective action.

  • Submits accurate reports on a timely basis.

  • Complies with cash/inventory control procedures.

  • Maintains positive labour relations.

  • Recruits, interviews and selects the right employees for the company.

  • Conducts induction training.

  • Develops and coaches personnel for career development.

  • Monitors employees' performance.

  • Ensures floor management techniques are applied.

  • Provides regular feedback to employees.

  • Conducts performance reviews on a timely basis.

  • Maintains positive customer relations by ensuring prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines and creating an environment of customer awareness by crew.

  • Ensures quality products in line with Pizza Hut international specifications and Standards of Operations and by maintaining adequate inventory levels.

  • Maintain physical plant.

Educational and skill requirements

  • Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality, catering, retail, or a similar customer-focused environment.

  • Strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills.

  • Commercial awareness with the ability to manage operational performance and costs.

  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service.

  • Good understanding of health and safety and food hygiene standards.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

  • A valid driving licence will be considered an asset.
